Erlanger’s Employee Health is an important part of WorkForce’s commitment to provide excellent care to the working population of our community.

Conveniently located in the bottom floor of the UTFP building, we offer comprehensive post offer exams, annual TB screenings and flu shots as well as treatment of minor illnesses and injuries at no charge to our employees. We also work closely with risk management to treat our employees’ on the job injuries with professional care and concern.

Baroness Auxiliary Gift Shops

The Erlanger Auxiliary and the Volunteer Services department welcome you to Erlanger!

The Auxiliary is the only volunteer group dedicated solely to Erlanger Health System. Members of the Auxiliary share thousands of hours of their time and talents serving Erlanger’s patients, families and staff in various clinical and administrative areas. Often, volunteers are the first smiling face that greets a concerned family member or is that helping hand letting a patient feel cared for.

The Auxiliary also owns and runs the Gift Shop on the Baroness Campus. The Gift Shop, along with proceeds from special fundraising sales, uniform sales, and newborn baby photography on the Baroness, Children’s and East campuses, raises money to fund numerous needs and projects that reflect Erlanger’s mission

As an Erlanger employee, you may be eligible for payroll deduction in the Gift Shop and at our many sales. Below are the payroll deduction guidelines. Erlanger Auxiliary Gift Shop

The Gift Shop is located by the Main Information Desk on the Baroness Campus. They offer a wide range of gifts, flowers, candy and other snacks. Gift Shop payroll deduction is open to full-time employees (at least .52) who have been employed with Erlanger for at least six months. The limit is $250 and up to four payroll deductions.


Lambert’s Uniform Sales

The uniform sale is on the Baroness Campus four times a year, and is on the Erlanger East twice a year. However, anytime shopping is available online, including payroll deduction for eligible employees. Uniform payroll deduction is open to ALL full-time (at least .52) Erlanger employees. New full-time employees (0 to 6 months) may charge up to $250 and up to four payroll deductions. Full-time employees who have been employed by Erlanger for more than six months may charge up to $750 and up to six payroll deductions.


Collective Goods

The Collective Goods sale visits the Baroness, Erlanger East, and Erlanger North campuses. This sale features books, gifts, household items, electronics, and more. Collective Goods payroll deduction is open to full-time employees (at least .52) who have been employed with Erlanger for at least six months. The limit is $300 and up to four payroll deductions.


Acute Charm Boutique

Acute Charm Boutique sets up on the Baroness and Erlanger East campuses. This sale features women’s clothing, jewelry and accessories. Acute Charm Boutique payroll deduction is open to full-time employees (at least .52) who have been employed with Erlanger for at least six months. The limit is $500 and up to four payroll deductions.


Southern Comfort Linens

Southern Comfort Linens sets up on the Baroness and Erlanger East campuses. This sale features sheets, blankets and more. Southern Comfort Linens payroll deduction is open to full-time employees (at least .52) who have been employed with Erlanger for at least six months. The limit is $500 and up to four payroll deductions.


Masquerade

Masquerade visits the Baroness and Erlanger East campuses. This sale offers accessories, t-shirts, jewelry and more for just $5 per item. Masquerade payroll deduction is open to full-time employees (at least .52) who have been employed with Erlanger for at least six months. The limit is $250 and up to four payroll deductions.


First Uniform Outlet

We are pleased to offer convenient payroll deductions as a means of payment.

Eligibility:
Payroll deductions are available for all employees that are scheduled to work at least 19.5 hours per week (0.52-1.00 FTE) of the Erlanger Health System.

Number of deductions (pay periods) available:
1 – 6 deductions; you choose the number that works best for you!

Purchase amount allowable for payroll deductions:
Minimum – $ 15.00
Maximum – $600.00 (represents the maximum balance outstanding at any point in time)

Multiple/frequent purchases and associated deductions:
Deductions associated with multiple purchases will be added together. The resulting total deduction will be made in equal amounts until the remaining balance is paid-off.

YMCA

Through the YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga, Erlanger now offers any employee that is eligible for payroll deduction benefits and savings that will enhance your well being and your quality of life.

Benefit #1 : 10% Reduction of membership rates. Just go to any of the 6 area YMCAs, tell them that
you want an Erlanger corporate membership and that you will be on the Erlanger payroll deduction plan.
You will receive your membership card that day! If you’re already a Y member paying by bank draft or annual renewal, change over to Erlanger’s payroll deduction to reduce your fees by 10%. This can be
done at any YMCA branch. If you should have any questions, contact Lori Dodd, YMCA Director of Corporate Membership at 423-265-8834.

Benefit #2: You pay no joining fee. A savings of $125 for families or $75 for individuals.

Benefit #3: Participate FREE of charge in the YMCA’s Y-Start program. Y-Start is designed to help you get to know Y staff and members and become familiar with all the Y has to offer. Three initial sessions will include an initial evaluation of your preferences and goals, an orientation to our facilities and equipment, and a consultation to develop your individual wellness plan. Then you’ll receive free passes for 30-minute personal training sessions – two for individuals and four for families.

Benefit #4: With just moderate exercise, many of the risk factors for disease can be reduced.

Benefit #5: Your satisfaction is guaranteed, so you never have to sign a contract. We also offer free parking and free Child watch for children up to age 5 with an individual membership. (With a family membership, Child Watch is free for all ages.)

Benefit #6: Your membership makes a difference in the community. The YMCA is a community-based, volunteer-led organization. Your membership in the Y helps them provide a wide variety of programs, including child care (preschool, before-and-after-school care) , day camp, resident camp, youth sports, family enrichment and over thirty programs for children and youth that provide tutoring , mentoring, leadership development, character development, wholesome recreation and community involvement.

The Rehab & Wellness department of Erlanger offers options for employees who would like assistance with getting physically fit, losing and maintaining weight or just staying healthy. We can help you accomplish your goals whatever they may be.

An Associate Lifestyle Membership is available for $20.00 – $28.00 per month for individual membership or $25.00 – $45.00 per month for family memberships. These memberships include access to the Gym, Aquatic Classes, swimming laps, Yoga Classes or Tai Chi.

Another choice offered to employees interested in a weight loss program is “E-Fit.” This is a 12 week program designed for a 25 pound weight loss. Initial comprehensive evaluations are completed by our registered dietitian, psychologist and exercise physiologist. Educational classes meet on Tuesdays weekly from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. This program is offered at a discounted rate of $448.00.
